Junior HR Officer Recruitment

We are looking for a proactive Junior HR Officer Recruitment to join our HR Team. If you have good organisational skills and have a lot of energy, then you may be the one we are looking for!

About the role

As Junior Recruitment Officer, you ensure a smooth hiring process for our staff and junior lawyers (both Dutch and International). In addition, you liaise with the Dutch Bar Association to facilitate the confirmation of our young lawyers by the Court. To that effect you manage information systems such as our ATS Connexys and Outlook. Finally, you support recruitment events and our Recruiters by running the daily operation smoothly. You work punctually, independently and accurately.

Our standards are very high and there is often great time pressure, so a strong degree of independence and proactivity is expected of you. You will act as a source of information for your HR colleagues and other De Brauw employees, and you will take action where necessary. Your files are always in perfect condition, you are fully informed in the best way to carry out your duties, and you process data accurately. You support the Recruiters by being alert and proactive, you are always aware of what is happening within your expertise, and you collaborate with other HR Officers where necessary.

Within the HR team we continuously strive to improve our work processes. You will be asked to analyse our current administrative HR processes for Recruitment, and we expect you to suggest proposals to make our processes more efficient and effective. You will also play a role in implementing these improvements.

Who are you?

Our ideal candidate for this position:

  • has preferably a Bachelor’s Degree and at least one or two years of administrative experience, preferably in the expertise of recruitment;
  • has an advanced/expert level of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
  • has preferably experience with an Applicant Tracking System such as Connexys;
  • is determined and has extraordinary organisational and planning skills;
  • is precise, customer-oriented and has great communication skills (both verbal and written, primarily in Dutch but proficiency in English is required);
  • can organise their own work, but also steps away and analyses where things can be improved;
  • is honest, stress-resistant and organisation-sensitive, and is an energetic team player.
