About the role

As a Legal Project Manager: eDiscovery & Digital Forensics specialist you will be responsible for organising, managing, and improving the firm’s eDiscovery project delivery in some of the most complex legal matters. You will be hands-on in managing legal projects and working with lawyers and clients, consulting with them closely to deliver results and implement technological solutions that improve our way of working. Your role will include:

  • Liaising with lawyers and clients to define the scope and method of review, advising on the appropriate platforms and/or providers, and associated costs, whilst ensuring a high standard of project delivery;
  • Overseeing eDiscovery and digital forensic review processes throughout the lifecycle of regulatory investigations and disputes;
  • Developing and managing the processes, tools and teams to facilitate a seamless and high quality delivery of projects within the agreed scope, budget and timeline;
  • Coordinating complex matters, including proactively engaging with the practice, our clients, co-counsel, counterparties, suppliers and other stakeholders;
  • Engaging with lawyers, clients and colleagues from within other departments to map legal processes, identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement and propose solutions;
  • Providing project management and eDiscovery training to lawyers, while guiding and coaching other colleagues in optimising and innovating the eDiscovery process.

Who are you?

The right candidate has:

  • At least 2 years project management experience in eDiscovery and/or digital forensic matters;
  • Direct experience with eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, as well as technology assisted review, predictive coding, and continuous active learning;
  • Knowledge of the eDiscovery market and providers;
  • A service-oriented mindset, get-the-job-done mentality, and is assertive and proactive: not uncomfortable sharing their advice, ideas, or concerns;
  • Experience providing legal support, particularly litigation support;
  • A Legal, IT, or Business degree;
  • Experience working independently, and managing a multi-disciplinary project team;
  • Experience working in a high-paced professional environment;
  • A good command of English. Dutch is also an advantage.
