Senior reinforcement of the Due Diligence Desk

Senior reinforcement of the Due Diligence Desk

De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek is keen to expand the Due Diligence Desk with a senior team member. You will be joining a small and close team of currently 2 FTE.

About the role

In this role, you will have the freedom to improve the due diligence process. This means that in your day-to-day work you are involved in process optimisation and in matters. You operate at senior associate level.

In certain matters you will have client contact, whereas in others you will not: your level of involvement in a matter will depend on the matter, the available team and the time you have available. You could for example be managing the entire due diligence process or only answering ad-hoc questions. You could also be coaching the team in the set-up phase of the matter (pitching, scoping, timing, management interviews, first level assessment of sell-side report etc.) and do regular check-ups later in the process. Or you could be the critical reader.

Based on your experience in matters, you are ideally situated to improve the quality and the efficiency of due diligence processes. To ensure that change is supported and implemented, you will be maintaining contact and advising all relevant stakeholders.

About the Due Diligence Desk

The Due Diligence Desk plays a vital and central role within our due diligence processes. It is part of the Transactional Services Team and an integral part of the Corporate practice group. The Due Diligence Desk regularly reports to the M&A taskforce (Arne, Klaas, Anja, Lennard and Elmer) and Bernard Spoor. The Transactional Services Team may in the future be expanded to include other transaction supporting services.
